Privacy & Usage Overview

This page adapts our internal policyprivacy.md checklist into human-friendly language. It covers how marketing pages, the embedded Flutter app, and Supabase services handle personal data and community contributions.

Data We Collect

  • Contact form submissions (name, email, organisation) so we can reply to enquiries.
  • Optional analytics events such as page views and UI interactions, aggregated and anonymised.
  • Server logs that capture IP, device type, and timestamps for abuse prevention.

How Information Is Used

  • To reply to support requests, coordinate directory onboarding, and share training resources.
  • To publish accurate listings of public information supplied by NGOs, clinics, or volunteers.
  • To monitor performance and prioritise improvements (never to sell data or profile individuals).

Data Sources & Attribution

  • Directory content references public NGO directories, government releases, and submissions vetted by MindMap HK.
  • Updates requested via email or the service-provider form are reviewed within five working days.
  • When data is reused, cite “MindMap HK 心思導航” and include the retrieval date, per our internal policyprivacy notes.

User Rights & Safety

  • You may request corrections or removal of listings by emailing data@mindmaphk.com.
  • MindMap HK is informational only; always contact emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
  • Automated scraping and redistributing without permission may be rate limited to protect community data.

Next Steps

  • Finalize bilingual legal copy with volunteer lawyers before publishing to production.
  • Document analytics/cookie usage once we confirm the tooling stack.
  • Offer a downloadable PDF summary so NGOs can keep offline records.
